Our
log and timberframe home packages come ready to assemble
on your foundation and subfloor.
Each package comes with a supervisor on the job site to assure you or your builder that your home will be completed to our strict specifications and in a timely manner.
 |
Our goal is to do what we do best — provide you with an easy to assemble, strong and beautiful structure.
That is why we do not include windows, doors and many other extraneous items in our basic package. You can save money by buying those things closer to home without the extra shipping and handling.
We start our package with the basic frame. To help you with ease of construction and energy efficiency, we do offer several options that you may want to consider. |

SIP Roof Panels |
| Structural insulated panels (SIP) work very well with timber frame homes, especially where the roof system is not very complicated. They are very energy efficient and provide strength to the roof. We can provide a custom engineered system for your home. To reduce time and labor, we can install the ceiling decking on the panel. SIP roof packages are individually priced for each specific house and energy efficiency. |

SIP Wall Panels |
| Just like roof panels, SIP wall panels can be a great addition to your timber frame home. They are priced individually and designed to your specification. You can choose R-15 or R-30 solid insulation. Wall panels come with OSB on both sides. |

Exterior Wall Stud Package |
If economics or practicality prevent the use of SIP wall panels, our Sloan's Mill exclusive alternative feature is a pre-cut stud wall package. We cut the exterior wall studs at the factory and notch them for ease of construction. We also pre-cut and number each stud including the door and window frames. After the exterior stud walls are in place, OSB or plywood can be used to cover the exterior. This saves time and money and makes it easier to run electrical wires for switches and receptacles. We suggest spray-on insulation for energy efficiency.

| Optional Roof Stud Package for Spray-on Insulation |
| Just like the exterior wall stud package, we can provide you with a pre-cut exterior roof stud package. This is used when a spray-on closed cell insulation is desired. We will help you decide which method is best when we design your home. This works great with steep pitch roofs and especially when a metal roof covering is used. |
